The Ukrainian Institute of Physics and Technology’s urban planning complex, consisting of five buildings, was designed by architects Vasily Bohomolov and P. Sydorov in 1929–1930. The territory remained closed for a long time due to the institute’s secret status, preserving the space and buildings almost entirely in their original form.
